Privacy statement

Last updated: 6 November 2026 · Applies to the extension "Click to call for ClearVox", the account portal (account.voipai.nl) and this website. The Dutch version is leading.

The extension

The extension stores the server address, the port and your per-website settings in your own browser's storage. If browser sync is on, they are synchronised through your own browser account; we have no access to that. The API token is stored only locally on this device and is not synchronised.

When you click a phone number, that number and your API token are sent only to the ClearVox server you configured, to set up the call. The extension scans the text of web pages locally in your browser to find phone numbers. Page content is not collected, stored or sent.

The extension has a call history: the last 20 numbers you called through the extension (click on a number, context menu or the dialer), with the time. That list stays only locally in your browser, is not synchronised and not sent. You clear it in the Recent view; if you remove the extension, it disappears as well.

The status planner (temporary status and weekly schedule) stores your planning only locally in your browser; the extension uses a browser alarm to change your status on your ClearVox server on time and to restore it afterwards.

If you enter a licence key, the extension checks it with account.voipai.nl (the key and the extension version are sent, nothing else). The key is stored only locally and only when a licence is required.

Occasionally (at most once an hour, when you open the popup) the extension fetches a small settings file from clearvox.voipai.nl: colours, a short notice and features that can be switched on or off. That file is signed and contains only data, never program code. Our hosting (Cloudflare) sees your IP address, as with any website visit; no cookies, token or numbers are sent along. In the popup the extension shows your status and the number of new voicemails; these come directly from the ClearVox server you configured.

The account portal

If you create an account on account.voipai.nl we store your email address, your licence and trial data, licence keys (only as a hash), payment records (when payments exist), and, if you set them, a password (only as a salted hash) and a two-factor secret (encrypted). We use this only to log you in, manage your licence and send you the login email. Data is stored in Cloudflare's EU region; emails are sent via Resend. The portal uses a login cookie (needed to stay logged in) and a language cookie (your language choice); there are no tracking cookies. You can download or delete your data in your account.

What we do not do

  • No analytics, advertising or tracking in the extension.
  • No sale or disclosure of data to third parties.
  • No use of data for purposes other than starting the call you choose yourself.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. As hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as the IP address, to deliver and secure the site.

Deleting your data

Remove the extension from your browser to erase all locally stored settings and your token. If you also want to invalidate the token, revoke it in your ClearVox profile.
